Why do people mourn the death of Kurt Cobain when...?

Kurt Cobain changed music . If it wasn't for him , we wouldn't have great music . Radiohead did not and will not make better music than Nirvana . People ( mostly teens ) like me understand Kurt . We connect with him . Thom Yorke is just , well , Thom Yorke . I only like Radiohead's old stuff , because they are mainstream just like the other so called artists we have today . If anything you should thank Kurt Cobain .
